IJM CFO Zhang Xinjie emphasized the advantages of AI security robots over traditional CCTV, highlighting their mobility and ability to monitor areas effectively. These robots can identify loitering groups, illegal smoking, and escalator issues, alerting security personnel when anomalies are detected. During the launch, he noted this as the country’s first AI security robot, which enhances monitoring efficiency, allowing security staff to focus on critical tasks. Currently, the program is testing indoor robots, with plans for outdoor deployment once functionalities are perfected. The cost of this technology is comparable to prior security measures.
